21 Jul 2015 O-Train Trillium Line Service Adjustments
As your City Councillor, I would like to share with you the following memo from OC Transpo regarding upcoming maintenance on the O-Train Trillium Line.
The purpose of this memo is to provide you with information regarding upcoming temporary O-Train Trillium Line service adjustments, scheduled on:
- Sunday – July 26;
- Sunday – August 9; and
- Sunday – August 16, 2015.
These adjustments are required to complete regular preventative maintenance work along the Trillium Line.
In order to minimize the impact for customers, all maintenance work is being completed on Sundays and over the summer months when ridership is lowest. For each service adjustment, O-Train Trillium line service will be replaced by Route 107 bus service that will travel parallel to the Trillium Line routing between Bayview and South Keys stations, with limited stops along the way. Service will operate approximately every 15 to 30 minutes depending on time of day on each of the Sundays.
Details regarding this service adjustment will be communicated to our customers through a Public Service Announcement, on octranspo.com, Twitter, on the O-Train Trillium Line vehicles and at station platforms. In addition to Route 107, there may be other bus route options that work better for some customers.
