Road, Sewer and Watermain Construction

Beginning at the end of May 2016 the City will begin work in your neighbourhood. This work is being conducted to rehabilitate the roadway, sewers and watermain in your community.

WHO:      The City of Ottawa has hired the Contractor, Colautti Construction Ltd., to complete the work

WHY:      The Contractor and the City of Ottawa will be completing the integrated reconstruction project in an effort to renew the infrastructure in your neighbourhood and enhance the functionality of the street.

WHAT:   Work will involve the reconstruction of the watermain, sanitary and storm sewers. As part of the coordinated work, full road reconstruction is proposed. New concrete curbs will be installed within the project limits. A new 1.8 m wide concrete sidewalk will be installed on the East side of the roadway between Carling Avenue and Thames Street.

WHEN:   This work is tentatively planned to begin Monday May 30th, 2016 and is to be completed by September 2016.

WHERE: Full road reconstruction and installation of storm sewers, sanitary sewers and watermains along Meath Street, between Carling Avenue and Thames Street.
