13 Jan Proposed Changes to Bookmobile Stops
Users of the Ottawa Public Library’s Bookmobile are encouraged to review the following proposed changes to the stops and are invited to provide feedback with OPL.
The bookmobiles currently stops in 22 communities around the City. A new schedule is being recommended by an Ad-Hoc Committee to the Library Board in 2016. They would like to hear from you!
If you visit the bookmobile this week, you will receive information about proposed changes to your stop; alternatively, if a bookmobile stop is your home location, and your email address is on file with us, you will receive an email about the proposed changes.
OPL Bookmobile Services is your portal to the whole Library system:
- Books, DVDs, magazines and more
- Hold pickup
- Return/borrow material
- Get or renew a Library card
- Material in French, English and other languages
- Reading recommendations
- Answers for homework or research
- Wheelchair accessible

Proposed Changes to the River Ward stops:
Riverside Mall stop currently: Tuesday from 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. No changes recommended.
Hunt Club stop currently: Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. -12 p.m. Proposed: Wednesday from 2-3:45 p.m. OR Wednesday from 5:15-8:15 p.m.
Do you prefer the current location or the Hunt Club-Riverside Park Community Centre at 3320 Paul Anka Dr.?
Bayview stop current temporary schedule: Wednesday from 5:15-8:15 p.m. (formerly Wednesday from 3-4:30 p.m., 5:30-8:30 p.m.). Proposed: Wednesdays from 5:15-8:15 p.m. OR Wednesdays from 2-3:45 p.m.
Caldwell stop currently: Thursday from 11:30a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Proposed: Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Carleton Heights stop currently: Thursday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. No proposed changes to schedule.
McGregor Easson stop currently: Thursday from 3:30-4:30 p.m., 5:30-8:30 p.m. Proposed: Thursday from 3:30-4:30 p.m., 5:30-8:15 p.m.
