DESCRIPTION:The Ottawa Public Library (OPL) is launching its mini Bookmobile during an event taking place at the Hunt Club Centre Bookmobile Stop\, 3310 McCarthy Road\, on June 3\, at 10:30 a.m. \nThe mini Bookmobile will have its own unique collection\, including: \n\n\na Maker-bot mini (3D printer)\na quadcopter (drone)\nChromebooks (laptops)\nMakey Makeys (micro-controllers)\nLED throwies (glow-dots)\nPublic WiFi\n\n\n\nbooks\, audio books\, magazines\, DVDs\, and more!\n\nThe mini Bookmobile’s launch is part of OPL’s Alternative Services offerings\, which aim to better serve Ottawa’s communities\, and to help make our services and collections accessible to all. \nI encourage you to attend the launch of this great new community outreach service that will soon be rolling out to stops across the city\, and at the same time\, come support your Ottawa Public Library.
