DESCRIPTION:Have Your Say: 2018 Pre-Budget Consultations \nOttawa – Ottawa residents will have several opportunities in September and October to take part in pre-budget consultations\, as part of the City of Ottawa’s 2018 budget development process. \nStarting on Tuesday\, September 12\, City Councillors will be hosting sessions with residents from their wards to share their comments for the 2018 budget\, including suggested priorities and potential areas for savings. \nTo assist residents in preparing for these meetings\, background information and budget resource materials are available at ottawa.ca. \nResidents can also use the Citizen Budget tool to provide feedback on City services\, and to understand how property tax dollars are spent. With this innovative and easy to use tool\, you can see how changes in spending would affect your tax bill. \nResidents are invited to join to the conversation at one of these consultations: \nThursday\, October 12\, 2017\nCouncillors Diane Deans (Gloucester-Southgate)\, Riley Brockington (River)\, David Chernushenko\n(Capital)\, and Jean Cloutier (Alta Vista)\nJim Durrell Recreation Centre (Ellwood Hall)\n1265 Walkley Road\n6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.\n  \nThursday\, October 19\, 2017 \nCouncillors Keith Egli (Knoxdale-Merivale)\, Michael Qaqish (Gloucester-South Nepean)\, and\nMark Taylor (Bay)\nNepean Sportsplex Hall C & D\n1701 Woodroffe Avenue\n6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.\nNew pre-budget consultation dates will be added in the coming weeks.
