SUMMARY:Mayor's Annual Christmas Celebration
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of His Worship Jim Watson\,  I am pleased to extend an invitation to you and your families to attend the Mayor’s 18th Annual Christmas Celebration on Saturday\, December 8th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.   \nCelebrate the season in the outdoors on Marion Dewar Plaza by roasting marshmallows and singing Christmas songs around a campfire.  Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus who will arrive from the North Pole and housed in their very own outdoor cabin. Come ice skate on the Sens Rink of Dreams\, take a horse-drawn wagon ride on the downtown streets surrounding City Hall\, then indulge in delicious BeaverTails.   The live entertainment is sure to get you moving\, with planned performances from LGS (Le Groupe Swing) and Sonshine & Broccoli! \nThe fun continues inside in Jean Pigott Place where you can enjoy hot chocolate\, assorted juices\, cookies\, and fresh fruit.  \nTo help those in need\, and to share in the spirit of the holiday season\, admission to this sponsored event is a non-perishable food donation to the Ottawa Food Bank.
