2018 Budget Consultation

October 12, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Have Your Say: 2018 Pre-Budget Consultations

Ottawa – Ottawa residents will have several opportunities in September and October to take part in pre-budget consultations, as part of the City of Ottawa’s 2018 budget development process.

Starting on Tuesday, September 12, City Councillors will be hosting sessions with residents from their wards to share their comments for the 2018 budget, including suggested priorities and potential areas for savings.

To assist residents in preparing for these meetings, background information and budget resource materials are available at ottawa.ca.

Residents can also use the Citizen Budget tool to provide feedback on City services, and to understand how property tax dollars are spent. With this innovative and easy to use tool, you can see how changes in spending would affect your tax bill.

Residents are invited to join to the conversation at one of these consultations:

Thursday, October 12, 2017
Councillors Diane Deans (Gloucester-Southgate), Riley Brockington (River), David Chernushenko
(Capital), and Jean Cloutier (Alta Vista)
Jim Durrell Recreation Centre (Ellwood Hall)
1265 Walkley Road
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Thursday, October 19, 2017
