    The 2026 Canoe Kayak Canada Sprint National Championships are being held at the Rideau Canoe Club/Mooney's Bay this week.

    1200+ athletes from across Canada are competing in various distances in sprint canoe and kayak.

    Today, at City Council, during a debate on the impacts of American tariffs on Canada/City of Ottawa, I stated that it is an embarrassment to have a street in River Ward named after Donald Trump & that during the next Term of Council, I will lead a public process to rename it.
