14 Jun 417 Eastbound off-ramp at Kirkwood/Carling
Good morning,
Yesterday afternoon, I was advised that the City of Ottawa has just been informed by the Ministry of Transportation that they intend to close Highway 417 (The Queensway) eastbound off-ramp at Carling Avenue and Kirkwood, effective Monday June 18. This closure is intended to last 4 weeks.
The City intends to release a Public Service Announcement later today to ensure as many motorists are aware of this decision as possible and to highlight detour routes.
This is an initiative of the provincial government, related to the widening of the 417.
