The following notice of night construction on the Wass siding construction project was received from Via Rail Canada in regards to work along the Fielding/Otterson Corridor in River Ward.

2015 07 07 – Wass night construction update F FINAL
In addition to the WASS project, I have been informed by Via Rail of rail surfacing work that will be undertaken between Walkley Road up to Industrial Avenue beginning this evening and continuing over a maximum of three nights. This maintenance work is follow up quality control testing related to the tie replacement program that was conducted last month in this area. The work must take place overnight in order not to interfere with the train operations during the day.
As before, the machinery will be progressing along and will not be static behind any location for extended periods of time.
