Dear Resident,
The City of Ottawa invites you to attend a Public Information Session to discuss the proposed infrastructure improvement project on Claymor Avenue, Senio Avenue and Falaise Road. Preliminary design drawings will be on display and staff will be present to provide information and receive comments. There will be a brief presentation from 7:20-7:40 p.m. followed by a question and answer period.
Who: The engineering firm, Robinson Consultants, has been retained by the City of Ottawa to develop design drawings for this project.
Why: The objective of this project is to rehabilitate underground and roadway infrastructure that is nearing the end of its lifespan.
What: Watermain, sewer and roadway infrastructure will be rebuilt, including widening of the road for Claymor Avenue and Senio Avenue. On Claymor Avenue, curbs will be installed and the east sidewalk will be rebuilt.
When: Construction is planned to start late spring 2020 and be completed by the summer of 2021.
Where: Claymor Avenue (Meadowlands Drive to Falaise Road), Senio Avenue (Normandy Crescent to Falaise Road) and Falaise Road (Claymor Avenue to Prince of Wales Drive).
