04 May Northbound Airport Parkway Ramp at Hunt Club scheduled for paving
Residents are advised that the northbound Airport Parkway on-ramp at Hunt Club Road is scheduled for paving on Friday, May 6 with completion on Monday, May 9. The paving operations the completion of the road reinstatement from the recent watermain work that was completed on the on-ramp.
The contractor has confirmed traffic will be diverted onto the shoulder, which will be built-up, to maintain one lane at all times. The contractor will complete the first two lifts of asphalt on Friday. The new pavement will then be transitioned up to existing, which would leave a couple of transition bumps through the weekend. Come Monday, the contractor will put the top lift of asphalt and do a final grade to the shoulders.
