What is the Algonquin Scholarship?
Each year, the OCH Foundation offers one $7,500 scholarship to an Ottawa Community Housing Tenant who is enrolled full-time, has applied or intends to apply to the Culinary Arts Management program within the School of Hospitality at Algonquin College. It is the Foundation’s largest and most prestigious scholarship.
To be eligible the applicant must be:
1. A current tenant of Ottawa Community Housing Corporation.
2. Must be a proven leader and an active volunteer in his or her community and will act as a role model to other tenants within Ottawa Community Housing
3. Currently enrolled, have applied or intend to apply to the Culinary Management Program within the School of Hospitality at Algonquin College. Studies must begin between September 2015 and January 2016.
How to apply?
Fill out and drop off or mail the application form with all sections completed to any OCH office to the attention of: Christa Allevato, OCH Foundation c/o Algonquin College Scholarship or email the documents to info@ochfoundation.ca The applications are available at the front counter of all OCH offices (listed below):
