Overnight Utilities Work: Hunt Club Road duct bank installation

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Trillium Line South Extension project, overnight utilities work will be required on Hunt Club road. Traffic, pedestrian, and cycling will be re-routed to maintain access as the Airport Parkway off ramps at Hunt Club will be closed.
WHAT: | Overnight utilities work is required to complete duct bank construction on the South side of Hunt Club road to move utilities underground. This work is required to be completed to start work on the rail bridge work on Hunt Club road. |
WHEN: | Work will start on September 21 between the hours of 8 pm and 6 am until September 24, 2020. Weather permitting. |
WHY: | Work is being conducted at night to progress construction while minimizing impact to the travelling public. |
WHERE: | There will be temporary ramp, sidewalk and single lane closures on The Airport Parkway and Hunt Club Road, to facilitate the utilities work. |
DATES AND HOURS OF WORK
Construction activity will begin September 21 between the hours of 8 pm and 6 am until September 24, 2020. Weather permitting.
ANTICIPATED IMPACTS
Traffic, pedestrian, and cycling access will be maintained, although intermittent single lane closures and ramp closures will be required. Signage and other traffic management resources will be used to manage the public.
