Tuesday, October 15, I hosted a community safety night at the Alexander Community Centre for residents of Carlington, Central Park and Carleton Heights. Topics included the new Neighbourhood Policing Pilot Project, Rat Mitigation and the Opioid crisis in Ottawa, complete with Naloxone training and free kits. Thanks to my presenters from the Ottawa Police Service, Ottawa Bylaw Service, Ottawa Public Health and Mark Barnes and his team from Respect RX.
