Dear friends and neighbours of River Ward,
Spring will officially arrive in a few weeks, but it certainly feels this week that we have a head start.
I am pleased to be hosting three main events in the ward this month: Trivia Night (March 2), Women’s Day Speaker Series (March 7) and the Spring Community Breakfast (March 30) details may be found in the e-newsletter.
In addition to International Women’s Day (March 8), March will be busy with St David’s Day (March 1), Daylight Savings Begins (March 10), Ramadan (March 11), the March Break for school children, St Patrick’s Day (March 17), Good Friday (March 29) and Easter Sunday (March 31).
March is Francophonie Month — a time to celebrate Francophone culture, language and heritage which have deep roots in Ottawa.….
