May I take this opportunity to wish all mothers, grandmothers, aunts and mother figures, a very Happy Mother’s Day (May 12). I am hosting my annual Mother’s Day High Tea on May 11, with two afternoon seatings.
Whether the issue is the need for more consistent and reliable public bus transit, park clean-up and upgrades, more funding for housing and homelessness, examining possibilities to expand community gardens and pollinators, or mapping out how to connect neighbourhoods with better bike networks, I show up every day, to work for you and this amazing ward we call home. I will never slow down. We have challenges in our ward that need attention and you remain my number one priority.
