31 Jul Stage 2 Light Rail Transit (LRT) Trillium Line South Extension Project – Overnight Work
Excavation at South Keys Station Construction Site
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Trillium Line South Extension project overnight work will begin to progress construction on the South Keys Station. Uninterrupted access for traffic, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained throughout the duration of construction.
WHAT: Overnight excavation work to start as a part of construction on the new South Keys transfer station.
WHEN: Work will start on August 4th, 2020 and will take place each night between the hours of 11pm to 7am until August 23rd, 2020. This schedule is subject to change.
WHY: Overnight work is required to progress construction of the South Keys transfer station to the Airport Link.
WHERE: Work will take place at South Keys station. Vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists will still be able to safely move around the construction zone.
DATES AND HOURS OF WORK
Construction activity will begin on August 4th, 2020 and take place each night between the hours of 11pm to 7am until August 23rd, 2020. This schedule is subject to change.
ANTICIPATED IMPACTS
No light impacts expected, lights will be positioned facing away from residential areas. Expect noise at the site of work will not exceed 65 decibels.
There will be no impacts to traffic, pedestrians and cyclists during construction.
