In September, the Board of Governors for The Ottawa Hospital officially launched the next stage of development for the new Civic Campus.
Planning is well underway. When it opens in the spring of 2028, the new Civic will be the largest, most advanced hospital in Canada.
To keep you informed between now and opening day, the New Campus Development CheckPoint newsletter will feature project updates and explore what it means to be a building a 21st-century hospital to serve the region.
In our first edition, attached to this email, you’ll read about what makes TOH a world-class tertiary hospital, how we will partner with the Unionized Building and Construction Trades Council, and more.

Voici Point de repère, la nouvelle publication sur le nouveau projet Civic!
En septembre dernier, le Conseil des gouverneurs de L’Hôpital d’Ottawa a officiellement donné le coup d’envoi à la prochaine étape de la construction du nouveau campus.
La planification est bien entamée. À son ouverture au printemps 2028, ce sera l’hôpital le plus grand et perfectionné au Canada.
Pour vous informer régulièrement à ce sujet d’ici son ouverture, nous avons créé le bulletin Point de repère. Nous l’utiliserons notamment pour faire état des progrès et explorer les multiples facettes d’un hôpital digne du 21e siècle.
Dans le premier numéro, joint au présent courriel, nous vous renseignons sur nos installations de soins tertiaires de calibre mondial, notre partenariat avec le Conseil des métiers de la construction et bien plus.
