Trillium Line Maintenance – August 12 – 19, 2018

Trillium Line Maintenance – August 12 – 19, 2018

From August 12 to August 19, Trillium Line service will be temporarily replaced by Route 107 bus service in order to facilitate planned required maintenance, such as brushing, tie inspections, repairs, etc., as has been done in previous years. It is standard practice to complete this work over the summer, when ridership is lowest, in order to minimize the impact to our customers.

OC Transpo has scheduled several maintenance activities during this period, in order to take full advantage of the access to the rail corridor. These activities will ensure the continued safe and reliable operation of our rail service and maintain the line in a good state of repair. While there are many maintenance activities planned, some of the activities include the tie replacement project, tree removal and brush cutting.

As in previous years, during the temporary service adjustments, bus Route 107 will provide service parallel to the Trillium Line and will operate every 15 minutes. Details will be communicated to our customers through various channels, including PSAs and social media updates, with additional information available on octranspo.com, on O-Train vehicles and at station platforms. In addition to Route 107, there may be other bus route options that work better for some customers. Customers can call 613-741-4390, visit octranspo.com or use octranspo.mobi for travel planning assistance. Schedules are available by calling 613-560-1000 or texting 560560 plus the bus stop number.
