21 Nov VIA Rail – Update on Infrastructure Work

Via Rail staff have advised my office of impending infrastructure work in River Ward. In the coming week, Thursday, November 24^th to Sunday, November, 27^th rail infrastructure maintenance will occur on VIA Rail’s right-of-way between Riverside Drive and Heron Road.

The following projects require completion in the abovementioned area:

Thursday, November 24^th (night): Rail Surfacing behind Ramsgate and Marble Crescent.
Saturday, November 26^th (night): Rail Surfacing behind Otterson and Fielding Drive.
Sunday, November 27^th (night): Rail Surfacing behind Sandhurst and Coleman Street.

This work is expected to cause low levels of noise disruption.

It should be noted that schedules and timeframes are estimates and are subject to contractor availability, weather and equipment performance.
