Ottawa Public Library Mini-Bookmobile Launch

The Ottawa Public Library (OPL) is launching its mini Bookmobile during an event taking place at the Hunt Club Centre Bookmobile Stop, 3310 McCarthy Road, on June 3, at 10:30 a.m.

The mini Bookmobile will have its own unique collection, including:

• a Maker-bot mini (3D printer)
• a quadcopter (drone)
• Chromebooks (laptops)
• Makey Makeys (micro-controllers)
• LED throwies (glow-dots)
• Public WiFi

• books, audio books, magazines, DVDs, and more!

The mini Bookmobile’s launch is part of OPL’s Alternative Services offerings, which aim to better serve Ottawa’s communities, and to help make our services and collections accessible to all.
