21 Sep Multi-Use Pathway (MUP) detour near Mooney’s Bay Station
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Trillium Line South Extension project, work is ready to proceed at Mooney’s Bay station, which require a temporary MUP detour to divert cyclists and pedestrians around the work zone.
WHAT: Crews will begin work at Mooney’s Bay to lengthen the existing station platform. The creation of a work zone will require a temporary detour to be put in place to safely route cyclists and pedestrians around the construction site.
WHEN: The detour will take effect on Monday, September 21, 2020 and will remain in place until the work at Mooney’s Bay is complete.
WHY: To maintain pedestrian and cyclist access to the path network while allowing platform lengthening to proceed at Mooney’s Bay station.

The MUP detour will be put in place on Monday, September 21 and will remain in place for the duration of station works.
