22 Dec OC Transpo makes holiday adjustments
Ottawa – OC Transpo is the safe and reliable way to go during the holidays and will once again offer free service after 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. A reduced weekday service will be in effect on December 31 so customers are encouraged to check the holiday schedule before heading out.
A special holiday schedule will run from December 21 to January 3. Service improvements will be introduced on December 21, and new winter schedules will start on January 4, 2015.

• December 22-24, 29-31: Reduced weekday schedule
• December 25: Sunday schedule
• December 26: Saturday schedule
• December 31: Free* service after 8 p.m.
• January 1: Sunday schedule
• January 2: Reduced weekday schedule

Schools are closed over the holidays so special school routes will not be running.
Holiday fare values
Families can travel all day with one $8.10 DayPass on weekends and statutory holidays. The Family DayPass is valid for up to six people, with a maximum of two children who are 13 or older.
Holiday office hours
The Transit Information Centre (613-741-4390) will be open throughout the holidays to help customers with schedules and trip planning, including Christmas and New Year’s Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Boxing Day the information centre will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Customer Relations Centre (613-842-3600) will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, and will operate reduced hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
OC Transpo Sales and Information Centres will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, except for the Rideau Centre, which will be open Boxing Day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All Sales Centres will close early on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve at 5 p.m. The offices at Lincoln Fields, St-Laurent and Place d’Orléans will open on Saturday, January 3, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
