03 Jan Public Meeting for Kingston Avenue Development – Jan 17 2017
Dear residents of Carlington (South-East),
My office has been notified of a potential future
development on Kingston Avenue. The development would consist of a rezoning application to allow for the construction of 10 new houses along Kingston Avenue at the rear of the Turnbull School property.
I am facilitating a public meeting with J.D. Turnbull Development Inc. in order to discuss the project with local residents and listen to your feedback regarding the proposal prior to submission to the City of Ottawa. The development is proposed for an 80m stretch of vacant land (excess of the school property) at the southeast end of Kingston Ave. This land also backs onto the Experimental Farm.
I welcome and encourage residents who are interested in learning more about this potential development project to attend the public meeting.
