Dear Friends and Neighbours!

Happy Canada Day!

July is a great month of summer fun, enjoy everything there is to do in our ward and across our beautiful City – Ottawa shines in the summer.

On July 25, the Central Park Community Association will host their annual Family Fun Day in Celebration Park from 11am to 2pm.  I will look forward to seeing local residents there, come and visit my red tent.

Two large festivals in River Ward this month to take note of are HOPE Volleyball SummerFest, July 11, Mooney’s Bay Beach and Ottawa Lebanese Festival, July 15-19, St Elias Cathedral grounds, 750 Ridgewood Avenue.  Mark your calendar for Bluesfest, July 9-19, at  Lebreton Flats.  Remember that your Bluesfest ticket includes public transit fare that day.

If you have a collection of Household Hazardous Waste to safely dispose of, please note that the City will host a depot on July 25, 8am-4pm, at the Kanata Research Park, 373 Leggett Drive. …
