What a great month, June is now here with many great things to enjoy and partake in.
This month, enjoy and celebrate National Indigenous History Month, Filipino Heritage Month, Italian Heritage Month, Jewish Heritage Month, International Pride Month and Portuguese Heritage Month in addition to National Cancer Survivor’s Day (June 1),
Ottawa Italian Festival (June 5-15), Eid al-adha (June 6-10 with a Meadowvale Park celebration on June 7), Father’s Day (June 15), Dragon Boat Festival (June 20-22), National Indigenous People Day (June 21), First Day of Summer (June 21) and the Carleton Heights and Area Residents Association Community BBQ (June 24).
The City is winding down consultations on the Comprehensive Zoning Bylaw Review, Transportation Master Plan (Phase 5) and Mooney’s Bay Pavilion, including basketball court and tennis court. Please read below for more details.
