What a great month ahead, June is now here with a very busy calendar of events. Please read the e-newsletter for a list of social events, public consultations and a community safety night.
This month, enjoy and celebrate National Indigenous History Month, Filipino Heritage Month, Italian Heritage Month, Jewish Heritage Month, International Pride Month and Portuguese Heritage Month in addition to the Carlington Community Safety Night (June 3), National Cancer Survivor’s Day (June 7), Ottawa Italian Festival (June 11-21), 2026 Canadian Track & Field Championships (June 17-21), Dragon Boat Festival (June 19-21), Father’s Day (June 21), National Indigenous People Day (June 21), First Day of Summer (June 21) and the Carleton Heights and Area Residents Association Community BBQ (June 23).
To all of our local graduates completing their studies in high school, ready to embark on the next chapter at work, or trades school, college or university, may I offer my very best wishes to everyone this month, acknowledging your academic success and my best wishes to you. Congratulations!
